Ingredients
Scale
Chicken and Marinade
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced in half lengthwise)
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
Breading
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Others
- Olive oil spray
- Chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
- Extra Caesar dressing (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken: Place the chicken cutlets in a bowl or resealable bag and coat evenly with Caesar dressing. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 1 hour for enhanced flavor and tenderness.
- Prepare the breading: In a shallow bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well to evenly distribute the seasonings.
- Coat the chicken: Take each marinated cutlet and dredge it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to ensure the coating adheres well to the surface of the chicken.
- Preheat the air fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to preheat for 3 minutes to ensure even cooking and crispiness.
- Prepare the air fryer basket: Lightly spray the basket with olive oil to prevent sticking and to help with browning.
- Air fry the cutlets: Arrange the coated cutlets in a single layer inside the air fryer basket, cooking in batches if necessary. Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Serve: Remove the cutlets and serve warm. Drizzle with extra Caesar dressing and garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired for added flavor and presentation.
Notes
- For extra crispy cutlets, lightly spray the tops with olive oil before air frying.
- These cutlets are delicious served on their own, sliced over a Caesar salad, or as a filling in sandwiches and wraps.
