Ingredients
Scale
Chicken:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Seasoning Mixture:
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Other:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Mix Seasoning: In a small bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper, mixing thoroughly to create the seasoning blend.
- Prepare Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to help the seasoning stick better, then rub each breast evenly with olive oil.
- Coat Chicken: Press the seasoning mixture firmly onto each chicken breast, coating all sides evenly for maximum flavor.
- Bake: Arrange the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish, then bake for 25–30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the top is golden brown.
- Rest and Garnish: Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes after baking to allow juices to redistribute, then garnish with chopped parsley if desired before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute smoked paprika with regular paprika if you prefer a milder flavor.
- For an extra crispy top, broil the chicken for the last 2–3 minutes of baking, watching closely to prevent burning.
- Ensure the chicken is cooked through by using a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Leftover chicken can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated gently.
