Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it reaches the right temperature for baking the lasagna evenly.
- Mix the cheese filling: In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, crumbled blue cheese, egg, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Stir thoroughly until well mixed, then set aside.
- Prepare the chicken mixture: In another bowl, combine shredded cooked chicken with buffalo wing sauce, ranch dressing, and diced tomatoes. Mix until the chicken is evenly coated with the sauce mixture.
- Assemble the lasagna: Spread one-quarter of the chicken mixture evenly on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Layer 4 lasagna noodles over the chicken base. Add another quarter of the chicken mixture, followed by one-third of the cheese filling, and sprinkle about one-third of the shredded mozzarella cheese. Repeat this layering process two more times, finishing with a top layer of mozzarella cheese.
- Bake the dish: Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. After that, remove the foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes until the lasagna is bubbly and the noodles are tender.
- Serve: Remove the lasagna from the oven and let it cool slightly to set. Slice into portions and serve warm for a delicious, spicy twist on traditional lasagna.
