Green Beans:
- 1 pound fresh green beans (trimmed)
Buttery Garlic Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions
- Blanch the Green Beans: Boil a pot of salted water. Cook green beans for 3–4 minutes, then transfer to ice water. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté in Butter: Melt butter in a skillet, add garlic and cook, then add green beans, salt, and pepper. Sauté until coated.
- Optional Toppings: Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice. Top with almonds or Parmesan.
