Description

Ingredients

Ground Beef:

1 pound

Olive Oil:

1 tablespoon

Onion, diced:

1 small

Garlic, minced:

3 cloves

Green Cabbage, chopped:

1 small head (about 6 cups)

Diced Tomatoes, undrained:

1 (14.5 oz) can

Smoked Paprika:

1 teaspoon

Dried Oregano:

1/2 teaspoon

Salt:

1/2 teaspoon

Black Pepper:

1/4 teaspoon

Tomato Paste (optional):

1 tablespoon

Beef Broth or Water (if needed):

1/4 cup

Parsley for garnish (optional):

chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or sauté pan over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  2. Add diced onion and garlic, and cook until fragrant and softened.
  3. Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook until slightly wilted.
  4. Add diced tomatoes, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, and tomato paste. Stir well to combine.
  5. If dry, add a splash of beef broth or water. Cover and simmer until tender.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
