Ingredients

Whole Chicken:

Olive Oil Mixture:

1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Aromatics:

1 medium onion (finely chopped), 3 garlic cloves (minced), 1 lemon (thinly sliced, seeds removed), 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Liquid and Pasta:

4 cups chicken broth, 1 cup orzo pasta, 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Garnish:

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken dry, season with salt and pepper.
