- 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Toppings:
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions or fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the frozen tater tots on a baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy.
- Prepare the Chili: Sauté onion and garlic, brown the ground beef, then add beans, tomatoes, tomato paste, and seasonings. Simmer until thickened.
- Assemble: Transfer baked tater tots to a dish, top with chili, and sprinkle with cheese. Bake until cheese melts.
- Serve: Garnish with green onions or cilantro before serving.
