- 2 tablespoons butter
- 8 oz cremini or white mushrooms (sliced)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme
- ½ teaspoon onion powder

- Season the Chicken: Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and cover.
- Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add mushrooms and cook until browned. Stir in garlic, then pour in chicken broth.
- Add Cream and Cheese: Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, thyme, and onion powder. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Combine and Serve: Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer briefly. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
