Description

Delightfully crispy on the outside and decadently creamy on the inside, these Crispy Cinnamon Cheesecake Bites combine the warm flavors of cinnamon and vanilla with rich cream cheese all wrapped in flaky crescent dough. Perfect as an easy, bite-sized dessert or snack, they bake to a golden crisp and can be enjoyed fresh or reheated for that perfect crunch.

Ingredients

Scale

Cheesecake Filling

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Dough & Coating

  • 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for coating)
  • Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure easy cleanup.
  2. Make Filling: In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy without lumps.
  3. Shape Bites: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into individual triangles. Place about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese filling near the wider end of each triangle. Roll the dough up starting from the wide end towards the point, forming a crescent shape. Pinch the sides carefully to seal the filling inside.
  4. Coat and Bake: Brush each rolled bite with melted butter, then roll them thoroughly in the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat. Arrange them on the prepared baking sheet spaced apart to allow expansion. Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  5. Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven and allow the bites to cool slightly. If desired, dust with powdered sugar before serving for an extra touch of sweetness and presentation.

Notes

  • Enjoy these bites warm for the best texture and flavor.
  • Reheat leftovers in the oven or air fryer to restore crispiness.
  • For added variation, mix mini chocolate chips or chopped nuts into the cream cheese filling.
