  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water (slurry for thickening)

Garnish:

  • Fresh basil or parsley

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken: Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Sear the chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sear the seasoned chicken in olive oil until golden but not fully cooked.
  3. Prepare the sauce: In a bowl, mix heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and garlic. Pour over chicken in the crock pot.
  4. Cook in the crock pot: Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours until chicken is tender.
  5. Thicken the sauce: For a thicker sauce, add cornstarch slurry to the crock pot during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
