  • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Additional:

  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crockpot: Spray the inside of a 6-quart crockpot with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Mix the Batter: In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, milk, sour cream, oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Add Batter to Crockpot: Pour the batter into the crockpot, spread evenly, and top with chocolate chips.
  4. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 2.5 to 3 hours until edges are set and center is gooey.
  5. Serve: Let it sit for 10–15 minutes before serving with toppings of choice.
