Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 (1-ounce) packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 (1-ounce) packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • 6 to 8 pepperoncini peppers (plus a splash of juice)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the Chicken: Put the chicken in the slow cooker.
  2. Season: Sprinkle ranch seasoning and au jus mix over the chicken.
  3. Add Butter: Place butter on top of chicken.
  4. Add Pepperoncini: Add pepperoncini peppers and a splash of brine.
  5. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until tender.
  6. Shred and Serve: Shred chicken with forks, mix, and serve hot over potatoes, rice, or rolls.
