- 2 1/2 cups cold milk
- 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)

Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare Dough: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a medium saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil. Add flour all at once and stir vigorously until the mixture forms a ball and pulls away from the sides of the pan. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
- Add Eggs to Dough: Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition until the dough is smooth and glossy.
- Bake the Crust: Spread the dough evenly into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
- Prepare Filling: In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk, then beat until the mixture thickens.
- Assemble the Dessert: Spread the pudding mixture evenly over the cooled crust. Top with whipped topping.
- Add Final Touches and Chill: Drizzle with chocolate syrup if desired. Refrigerate the dessert for at least 1 hour before serving to allow it to set.
