  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 1 lemon, halved

  • 1 onion, quartered

  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken or turkey broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Prepare the Turkey: Remove giblets and neck from the turkey cavity. Pat dry and place on a roasting rack in a pan.
  3. Season the Butter: Mix softened butter with seasonings to make a paste.
  4. Season and Roast: Spread butter under the turkey skin, rub the rest over the turkey, stuff the cavity, and pour broth into the pan.
