Teriyaki Sauce:

  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

Slurry:

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Garnish:

  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Teriyaki Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Set aside.
  2. Cook Chicken: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
  3. Add Sauce: Pour teriyaki sauce over chicken and simmer. Combine cornstarch and water, stir into skillet, and continue simmering until sauce thickens.
