Description

These Garlic Parmesan Brussels Sprouts are a delicious and easy side dish that is perfect for any meal. Roasted to crispy perfection and topped with melted Parmesan cheese, these Brussels sprouts are full of flavor and make a great addition to your dinner table.

Ingredients

Scale

Brussels Sprouts:

  • 1½ pounds Brussels sprouts (trimmed and halved)

Seasoning:

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Brussels Sprouts: In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika if using.
  3. Roast Brussels Sprouts: Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, cut side down. Roast for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and tender.
  4. Add Parmesan Cheese: During the last 5 minutes of roasting, sprinkle the Parmesan cheese evenly over the sprouts and return to the oven. Roast until the cheese is melted and lightly crisped.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, roast the Brussels sprouts without overcrowding the pan.
  • Add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving for a bright finish.
  • This dish pairs well with roasted chicken or salmon.
