Ingredients
Scale
Pasta
- 12 ounces pasta (penne, rotini, or shells)
Beef Mixture
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (if needed)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Cheese and Sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Cheeseburger Toppings
- 1/4 cup chopped dill pickles
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons ketchup (optional)
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard (optional)
Garnish
- Chopped green onions or parsley
Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the ground beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. If the beef is very lean, add a tablespoon of olive oil. Cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking the meat apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat if necessary.
- Prepare the sauce: Lower the heat and stir in the Alfredo sauce, milk, shredded cheddar cheese, and grated Parmesan cheese into the skillet with the beef. For a cheeseburger flavor, optionally add ketchup and yellow mustard. Stir continuously until the cheeses are melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Combine pasta and sauce: Add the cooked pasta into the skillet and toss gently to fully coat the pasta with the creamy cheeseburger Alfredo sauce.
- Add toppings and heat through: Stir in the chopped dill pickles and diced tomatoes for tang and freshness. Let everything heat together for 1 to 2 minutes to meld the flavors.
- Serve: Dish the pasta into bowls or plates and garnish with chopped green onions or parsley. Serve hot for a fulfilling meal.
Notes
- Add cooked bacon or sautéed onions for even more flavor.
- Use ground turkey or plant-based meat for a lighter option.
- This dish reheats well and is great for meal prep.
