Description

These P.F. Chang’s Lettuce Wraps are a delicious and healthy Asian-inspired dish that’s perfect as an appetizer or light main course. Made with flavorful ingredients and served in crisp lettuce cups, these wraps are sure to be a hit at any gathering.

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 small yellow onion, finely diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger

Additional Ingredients:

  • 1 (8 oz) can water chestnuts, drained and finely chopped
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • ¼ cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 head butter lettuce or iceberg lettuce, separated into cups

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil and cook chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground chicken and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5–6 minutes.
  2. Saute aromatics: Add diced onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook until fragrant and onion is soft.
  3. Add water chestnuts and green onions: Stir in chopped water chestnuts and green onions.
  4. Make the sauce: Whisk together hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and sriracha. Pour into the skillet and stir well.
  5. Combine and heat: Cook for another 1–2 minutes until heated through. Remove from heat.
  6. Assemble: Spoon chicken mixture into lettuce cups and serve immediately.
