Description

Indulge in the sweet and salty perfection of Salt River Bars. These no-bake layered bars feature club crackers sandwiched between a creamy caramel, topped with a luscious chocolate and butterscotch coating, and finished with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt for a delightful treat.


Ingredients

Club Crackers:

1 box (11 ounces)

Butter Caramel:

1 cup unsalted butter, 1 cup packed light brown sugar, ½ cup creamy peanut butter

Chocolate Butterscotch Coating:

2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1 cup butterscotch chips, flaky sea salt for topping


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base: Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Arrange a layer of club crackers on the bottom of the dish.
  2. Make the Caramel: Melt butter and brown sugar in a saucepan, then stir in peanut butter. Pour half over crackers.
  3. Layer and Repeat: Add more crackers, pour remaining caramel, add final cracker layer.
  4. Prepare the Chocolate Coating: Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips, spread over the top layer of crackers.
  5. Chill and Serve: Sprinkle with sea salt, chill for 2 hours, then slice into bars.
