Ingredients

Lasagna Noodles:

1 box (16 oz) San Giorgio® Lasagna noodles

Meat Sauce:

1 pound ground beef, 1 medium onion (chopped), 2 cloves garlic (minced), 1 jar (24 oz) pasta sauce or marinara sauce, 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Ricotta Filling:

1 container (15 oz) ricotta cheese, 1 large egg, 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tablespoon dried)

Cheese Layer:

3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook Noodles: Cook San Giorgio Lasagna noodles according to package directions. Drain and lay flat on a clean towel.
  3. Prepare Meat Sauce: Cook ground beef, onion, and garlic in a skillet. Add pasta sauce, tomato sauce, seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer.
  4. Make Ricotta Filling: Combine ricotta, egg, and parsley in a bowl.
