- 12 slices provolone or Swiss cheese

Instructions
- Season and Sear Beef: Season the chuck roast, then sear in a skillet until browned.
- Prepare Slow Cooker: Transfer beef to the slow cooker, add onions, garlic, broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, herbs, and spices.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4-5 hours until beef is tender.
- Shred Beef: Remove beef, shred, and strain cooking liquid for dipping broth.
