Description

This Spicy Guacamole recipe is a zesty twist on the classic avocado dip. Packed with vibrant flavors and a kick of heat, it’s perfect for parties or as a flavorful topping. Easy to make and sure to impress!

Ingredients

Scale

Guacamole:

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 small jalapeño (finely minced, seeds removed for less heat)
  • ¼ cup red onion (finely diced)
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • 1 Roma tomato (diced)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • juice of 1 lime
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin (optional)
  • ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados: In a mixing bowl, mash the avocado flesh until slightly chunky.
  2. Add ingredients: Mix in jalapeño, red onion, garlic, tomato, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and optional cumin and cayenne.
  3. Combine: Stir until well mixed. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  4. Serve: Enjoy with tortilla chips or as a topping.

Notes

  • For extra heat, use serrano pepper instead of jalapeño.
  • To prevent browning, cover with plastic wrap directly on the surface before storing.
  • Best consumed fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 1 day.
