- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (low-sodium preferred)
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sriracha or chili garlic sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions (sliced)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
- Chopped fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the Steak: Season steak slices with salt and pepper. Sear in olive oil until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
- Make the Sauce: Sauté garlic and red pepper flakes, then add brown sugar, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sriracha, and sesame oil. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Combine and Garnish: Toss steak in the sauce, add pasta, and heat through. Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and cilantro or parsley.
